Kolasib dated 1st May 2023: A meeting to review the existing rates of Bus, Maxi Cab, Taxi and Auto rickshaw within Kolasib district was held today under the chairmanship of Mr. John LT Sanga, Deputy Commissioner, at DRDO Conference Hall today. Members included representatives from Joint Village Council, NGOs, Kolasib District Consumer Union and Bus, Maxi Cab, Taxi and Auto Rickshaw Owners' Association.

Today's review meeting revised and fixed Bus fare from existing State Transport Authority rate of Rs. 3/Km to Rs. 4, Maxi Cab from Rs. 3 to Rs 4.35/ Km, Auto Rickshaw from Rs. 30 to Rs. 40/Km and Taxi fare remain unchanged, Rs. 50/Km. These proposed rates will be forwarded to the State Transport Authority for final approval.
