In observance of National Immunisation Day 2020, a pulse polio vaccination campaign is being carried out in Lawngtlai District for vaccination of children below 5 years old.

The campaign was launched by Pi Shashanka Ala, IAS, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, District Task Force Immunisation at Don Bosco School, Lawngtlai today.

Vaccination teams were dispatched in all 198 villages of Lawngtlai District. The teams administered the vaccine at the designated booth in every village. Mopping up of those not covered in booth administration will be carried out through door to door vaccination.
