Lawngtlai District Road Safety Committee meets

Lawngtlai District Road Safety Committee held its meeting today under the chairmanship of the Additional Deputy Commissioner Pi Marilyn Rualzakhumthangi at her office chamber and discussed action plan for observing Road Safety Month, 2021 within Lawngtlai District.

The meeting decided to organise an opening function of Road Safety Month, 2021 for Lawngtlai District on 18th January, 2021 at 7:00 a.m. at Areopagy. Help & Guidance Desk will be set up during the Month and road safety talk show will also be broadcasted through Local Cable TVs. The meeting also decided to select best driver (of commercial vehicles) and best traffic police. Road safety leaflet and pamphlet will be distributed and road safety banners will be displayed in the streets.
