Mamit 9th June, 2021 : Mamit District Hospital Labour Room received LaQshya National Certification from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoH&FW) on 10th May, 2021. This branding indicates that the Delivery Room in Mamit District Hospital is one of the best Delivery Rooms in India.
Branding of LaQshya certified facilities is done as per the NQAS score and National Assessment was conducted on 30th March, 2021 and this assessment was carried by National External Assessor under a strict criteria of National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS). The assessment is done using 300 check point which focus on quality of care in labour room and maternity Operation Theatre (OT).
Facilities scoring more than 90%, 80% and 70% will be given Platinum, Gold and Silver badge accordingly.
In the assessment for branding of Laqshya Certificate, Delivery Room, Mamit District Hospital scored 93% and received Platinum Badge which is the highest certification as per National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS).
As one of the Aspirational Districts, developmental work is on-going and the District received CSR fund for construction of Delivery Room, supply of drugs and equipment and vehicles for all PHCs/CHCs and Sub Centres in Mamit District.
