FCS&CA MINISTER ATTENDS GREEN MIZORAM DAY FUNCTION IN KOLASIB

Kolasib dated 11th June 2021: Green Mizoram day was observed this morning at Regional Sports Training Centre, Saidan Kolasib where Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Mr.K.Lalrinliana was the Chief Guest of the function.

Sapling plantation of the state tree, Mesua Ferrea (Herhse) in the RSTC campus was carried out with distribution of prizes for 'Best Village towards the prevention of domestic and forest fire' for the year 2021. The 1st prize was awarded to Thingthelh village, 2nd prize to Khamrang and 3rd prize to North Chhimluang village.

According to report presented by Mrs. N.Viji, DFO, Kolasib, the Kolasib Forest Division earmarked 21,290 seedlings for the year 2021 to be distributed at various parts of Kolasib district.
