Fire Prevention Week, 2020 has been celebrated today in Mamit at the conference hall of DIPRO Mamit with the presence of Dr Lalrozama, IAS, DC Mamit who is also the Chairman of District Level Fire Prevention Committee of Mamit.

This years theme for the fire prevention week says "Kangmei chhuak tur veng la, I ram chhan rawh" (Save your land by preventing fire). The member secretary of District Level Fire Prevention Committee Pu Lalnunsanga Khawlhring IFS, DFO Mamit reported the activities of the Department in which he delightedly said that there was happy to note that no case of unwanted forest fire breakout incident have been recorded last year.

The programe was chaired by Pu K. Eley Rosanga, President Sub Hqrs.YMA Mamit and many dignitaries and HoO in the District attended the programme.
