10 Assam Rifles under the aegis of 23 Sector Assam Rifles organised a free medical camp at Vill. Zohmun on 30 March 2010 as part of Army Military Civic Action under OP SADBHAVANA . The camp was organised at Zohmun Village and a total of 735 local including adults, newborns and school going children from across the district were provided free medical treatment and free medicines.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Mr. Lalrema, VCP of Zohmun Vill. The camp was successfully organised with assistance of Deputy Commandant Mary Hranngul SMO and Capt. Mary Joy D, RMO and Dr. R.K. Singh from National Medical Organisation, and a group of para medical staff of 10 Assam Rifles. Inspite of bad weather numerous patients suffering from various diseases came to the medical camp from Zohmun and nearby villages like Palsang, Maucher, Vaitin, Tinghmun etc. The huge crowd of locals at the medical camp were itself giving a proof of a long awaited wish.
