Aizawl dated the 18^th October, 2021: A meeting to discuss strategies for effective implementation of All Mask Campaign for Lunglei District was held today at the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DLTF on COVID19. 

The All Mask Campaign, a public awareness campaign to encourage and re-sensitize citizens on the importance of wearing masks to combat COVID-19, was launched by the Health Minister on the 11^th October, and is to be observed till the 31^st of this month. 

Present at this meeting were CMO Lunglei Dr LC Liana, Addl DC Pu M. Misael, SMO & DIO Dr Lalrinthangi & SDC Pu Lalsanglura.

The meeting chalked out an aggressive awareness campaign including recording a Talkshow on All Mask Campaign, to be through broadcast by local cable networks, preparation of IEC material to be disseminated via print media, social media, forming a flying squad to catch and fine offenders, and working with VLTFs of all localities to implement the campaign in all towns and villages across the District. 

The DC & Chairman DLTF today issued a letter in this regard to all Village Level Task Forces across the District.

The key points to be followed by citizens during the ‘All Mask Campaign’ are:

1. All citizens are requested to wear mask indoors at all times except while eating meals.

2. Citizens are requested not to dine together on a table, and have buffet meals instead.

3. All citizens are requested to wear masks at all time in their respective offices/working areas.

4. All citizens are requested to follow other CAB.

5. All citizens are requested and advised to be more mindful in hand washing and use of sanitizers.

Some of the slogans for this campaign are:

1. Wear a Face Mask so that you do not have to wear an Oxygen Mask.

2.Face Mask protects you more than you realize.

3. Wear Mask. Save Lives.
