Meeting chaired by Chief Minister agrees to full sponsorship programme of IAS aspirants

Aizawl, 14.10.2020: Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga in meeting with School Education, LESDE, etc. Minister Pu Lalchhandama Ralte, Mizoram Youth Commission Chairman Dr. Vanlaltanpuia and other important government officials yesterday agreed to start a full sponsorship programme of selected IAS aspirants.

In the meeting held at the Chief Minister's Office conference hall, the members unanimously agreed to start a full sponsorship program where selected IAS aspirants shall receive financial support from the government during a full course coaching programme at Delhi. The candidiates shall be selected from a screening test. Details of the programme is expected to be drafted soon for examination.

Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga commented on the importance of human resource development on economic growth and said that the state government will create opportunities for its youths to the best of its capabilities.
