Kolasib dated 12th June 2024: District Level Implementation Committee on Mission Shakti, an umbrella scheme for safety, security and empowerment of women, was convene today, at DC’s Conference Hall, Kolasib under the chairmanship of Mr. John LT Sanga, Deputy Commissioner.

Mrs. Lalthlengkimi, CDPO and Ms. Zonunpuii, Specialist in Financial Literacy delivers a power point presentation on the aims and objectives of Mission Shakti and the proposed activities for the year 2024-15. This activities includes ‘Skills Development Training’, ‘Financial & Digital Literacy Campaign’, ‘Awareness on Sexual Reproductive Health and Menstrul Hygiene’ and ‘Mental Health’. Mission Shakti will also be utilized as an important platform to create ‘Legal awareness’ and PMMVY, converging with various other line department within Kolasib District.
