In pursuance of Mizoram State Disaster Management Authority’s order to set up a District Quick Response Team, Lunglei District Disaster Management Authority held a meeting yesterday led by its Chairman Lunglei DC Pu V.Lalsangliana, IAS.

The District Disaster Management Authority agreed to set up Lunglei District Quick Response Team on a priority basis. The Team will comprise of 9 members who are trained specialists with expertise in handling Disaster related incidents. The meeting formed the Selection Board, who will then handle the recruitment/induction of the team as per the State Disaster Management Authority’s criteria.
