My dear people of Mizoram,

CHIBAI

I greet all of you on this joyous occasion of Christmas and the upcoming New Year.

Christmas is an important celebration for Christians, as we observe the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a season of joy and giving. Jesus brought the message of love, peace and goodwill. This teaching of compassion and tolerance has become even more relevant in today’s world.

In Mizoram, we have just concluded the General Election to our State Legislative Assembly. I sincerely applaud all the stakeholders for ensuring a successful election with a high voter turnout. The peaceful manner in which the election was conducted is a model for others to follow.

Our Hon’ble Prime Minister has spoken about our goal of becoming a Viksit Bharat by 2047. As responsible citizens, we all have roles to play in our aim to become a developed nation. An important step towards achieving this aim is the saturation of the various Central Government Schemes.

As we know, there are numerous Central Government Schemes which are meant for the benefit of the common people. These schemes encompass all important sectors, including agriculture, industry, health, social security, and many more. If these schemes are implemented to the fullest, we will easily be on the right path to become a developed Nation.

We look forward to the New Year with great hope and optimism. The people of Mizoram have voted for a new Government, and I wish them the very best. It is my sincere desire that the New Year will usher in an era of prosperity for our Nation and our State.

Once again, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

KA LAWM E

Jai Hind.
