Minister K Lalrinliana visited victims of house fire, which occurred yesterday at Meidum, affecting two families of Tuikurliana and Surendro. He handed over 10 bundles of corrugated tin sheet to the families and Rs 10,000 to the volunteers for use in the process of rehabilitating the families.

The Minister inspected the on-going construction of the Community Hall at Project veng, where first phase of the construction is completed using Rs 15 lakhs. The minister along with officials and Project veng NGO leaders discussed and make plans for the construction of better approached road, parking space and public urinals at the vicinity. The erection of Multipurpose Indoor stadium at Project veng, under DRDA, design to house various games, was also visited by the Minister.

The Minister was assisted by Benjamin Lalzama, Project Director, DRDA Kolasib, ST Lalhmingmawia, DLAO, Hmingthanzuala, DIPRO and several officials including leaders of NGOs of the area.
