The Lunglei District Police held a Salemman yesterday at the SP Conference Hall with Mizoram DGP Pu SBK Singh, IPS. Lunglei DEF, Hnahthial DEF and 2Bn MAP personnel were present at this meet. The event was chaired by Lunglei SP Pu C.Lalthanmawia. 

Addressing the gathering, the DGP congratulated and thanked the police personnel for their hard work and dedication in serving the citizens of the State. He also stated the dire need for upgradation is being addressed at the very top level of the State administration, and that Detailed Project Report to the tune of Rs. 400 crores has already been submitted to the Central Home Ministry for this purpose.  He also reminded the police to take special care of their health and not fall victim to alcohol and various other intoxicants
