In this statewide mock exercise that commenced at around 9:30 AM, all the DDMAs supported by the district IRS positions were in their District Emergency Operation Centers (DEOC) to coordinate with their respective Incident commanders at the incident sites. The DEOC constantly communicated with the Incident Commanders and their SDRF at the sites via live streaming and telephones to monitor the search and rescue operations. The SEOC performed overall supervision, control, monitoring, and coordination of all the DEOCs.

During this state-level Mock Exercise, Mock drills on Flood and Landslide were held in 47 places throughout the state. The real-life scenario of disasters caused by floods, fires and landslides was staged in hospitals, bridges, jungles and roads. In some districts, staging areas and relief camps were also set up.

The Coordinator and his IRS Positions at the SEOC were satisfied to be able to communicate and coordinate with the DDMAs of all the districts, one by one. However, poor digital connectivity seemed to be the issue during several segments of the communication. In this Mock Exercise, the observers, the representatives of NDRF, SDRF and Air Force were also invited to share their valuable inputs during this Mock Exercise.
