Mizoram Governor Lt Gen. Nirbhay Sharma (Retd) today held a meeting with the officials from Bharat Rural Livelihood Foundation (BRLF) at Raj Bhavan with an agenda regarding the improvement of ways to enable employment capacity generating institutions to cope up their livelihood in rural areas of the state.

Lt Gen. Nirbhay Sharma in his remarks mentioned the resemblance of BRLF’s objective with the current flagship NLUP programme of the state government and insisted on working in tandem with the NGOs of the state and advised them to absorb the Central Agriculture University of Selesih as a key partner in their projects.

BRLF team was led by board members Lt Gen. DB Shekatkar and Lt Gen. VM Patil and their CEO Mr Zulfiqar Haider who met the Chief Secretary of the State and many other decision making persons of the state and briefed the Governor with respect to their intent towards the development of livelihood projects and their commitment to building the state with special reference to the rural areas of the state.
