The Governor of Mizoram Lt. Gen. Nirbhay Sharma PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd.) would like to congratulate all the students who cleared the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2018. Their strenuous efforts have borne fruit for which their parents as well as the teachers also deserve credit. He wishes them well for their future endeavours and would also like to thank Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) for its efforts. 

The Governor took pride in the pass percentage of 76.65%, which is a record since 1978. He hopes that this year’s good result will be an inspiration for the younger students. And as for the students who could not clear this year’s exam, he urges them not to lose hope, keep themselves motivated and work not just harder but smarter.
