Aizawl, 8th March, 2021 : Mizoram M.P(LS)C.Lalrosanga and Taiwan envoy to India, Baushuan Ger met in New Delhi last saturday evening on 6th March, 2021 and discussed trade relations between India and Taiwan with focus on expanding the scope of trade and investment ties between the two countries in the north east and, Mizoram state, in particular. Taiwan envoy considers bamboo industry as one potential area to establish and widen the scope of trade relations and indicated people to people exchanges to enhance cooperation and bilateral trade relations between the two governments. Lalrosanga conveyed gratitude to the Taiwan government for assistance rendered to Mizoram at earlier times and specifically during the pandemic to combat covid 19.
