Aizawl, The 1st June 2023 : As arranged by Govt. of Mizoram, Home Department, a total of fifty .303 Drill Practice Rifles were handed over to Sainik School Chhingchhip today for use by the NCC Cadets. A function was held at Arya Mess, PHQ  which was chaired by Lalnunmawia DIGP(Armed) and attended by Devesh Chandra Srivasta IPS, DGP as the Chief Guest. John Neihlaia IPS, IGP(Hqrs)Mizoram and Wg.Commander Shahul Hameed, Principal, Sainik School Chhingchhip signed the official documents of handing and taking over of the rifles. The programme was attended by I'sGP and DI'sGP of Mizoram Police, SPs and above ranks stationed in Aizawl, Inspector and above at PHQ and MPRO Complexes Aizawl.
