Aizawl, the 30th March 2021: Pu Lalchhandama Ralte, Minister of State for LESDE and Chairman, MSSSB has convened a meeting of Mizoram State Social Security Board (MSSSB) at his Office Chamber, MINECO this afternoon.

In this meeting, the Comprehensive Action Plan for Registration of Unorganized Workers proposed by Directorate of LESDE was discussed at length and then approved for onward submission to the Ministry. The meeting also approved the proposal to set up District Unorganized Workers Social Security Board at the district level, proposal to set up Welfare Facilitation Centres and the budget estimate of the Comprehensive Action Plan For Registration of Unorganized Workers.

The two MSSSB members from the state Legislative Assembly, Pu V.L. Zaithanzama, MLA and Pu C. Lalmuanpuia, MLA were also in attendance at the MSSSB meeting, today. 7 members from 7 different organizations were representing Unorganized Workers. 7 members from 7 different organizations were representing Employers of Unorganized Workers. 5 members from 5 different organizations were representing Eminent Civil Society. While 7 members from 7 concerned departments were representing the state government at this meeting.
