Lawngtlai dated 14th October 2023: MLA Election Expenditure Observer to Lawngtlai district, Mr. Ranjeet Pawar held a meeting with Media persons of the district where he iterates the important role of Journalists in spreading Voter awareness and in the conduct of free and fair election. 

Besides Media persons, the meeting which took place at the DC Conference Hall, Lawngtlai was attended by Mr. C.Lalhmingthanga, District Election Officer, Mr. R.Lokeshwaran, IPS, SP, Returning Officer and Assistant Returning Officers. Mr. Ranjeet Pawar, Expenditure Observer urged the coodination of Media persons in order to create an environment for peaceful conduct of election as well as to use different forms of media to spread voter awareness among the general public. In order to precisely trail, report and record expenditure of Political parties and Candidates, he highlighted all banks within Lawngtlai district to make such transactions mostly through Cheque and Demand Draft.
