Kolasib dated 22nd November 2022: A state-wide program to spread awareness and to prevent the spread of HIV/Aids in Mizoram, ‘Zoram Harh Rawh Campaign’, was held in Kolasib district today, jointly organized by DC Office, Kolasib, District AIDS Prevention & Control Committee and Sub-Headquarters YMA, Kolasib. The function which was carried out at Parish Hall, Venglai, Kolasib was graced by Mr. K. Laldawngliana, MLA, Vice Chairman, Commerce & Industrial Board.

In today's awareness campaign, presentation on the transmission and prevention of HIV was conducted by Mrs. Lalmuanawmi, Mobile Counsellor, ICTC with Dr. Lalawmpuia Chhangte, Chief Medical Officer highlighting on the present scenario of HIV/AIDS prevelance in Kolasib district, pointing out that there is 1.98% positive case detected from 85,096 blood samples collected through 2002-2022 October. The campaign will consist of song writing competition, cultural dance and singing competition, inviting participants from various YMA branch of Kolasib district.
