Mamit District came together to congratulate Pi Laltharzeli of Mamit Bazar Veng winner of the prestigious national award fo her tremendous contribution towards cleanliness and sanitation in the whole of Mamit District.  Her work consisted of setting up 85 Children Sanitation Club (CSC) covering almost all the villages in the District. Her initiative have led create immense awarness and behavioural change towards sanitised living in the hearts of the children which could perhaps undoubtedly have  sowed the seeds Swachh India.

The District Dy. Commissioner Dr.  Lalrozama IAS took the lead in the felicitation program where she was honoured with road rally through the town of Mamit Dist HQ with colourful joys and slogans. Almost all the known government and non government organisations participated in the felicitation program with charms of appreciations and gifts.
