NEC Secretary Mr. U.K.Sangma, IAS who met the Chief Minister Pu Lal Thanhawla at his office chamber yesterday said that the report prepared by the Education Reforms Commission was appreciated both by the NEC and the DoNER Ministry, adding that the report would be suitable even to the rest of the North Eastern States. Regarding  Mizoram Government's effort to establish  Medical College, the NEC Secretary suggested that if it is being taken up as a Regional Medical College, the NEC would be in a position to give financial assistance and that it would be more beneficial to other North Eastern States. The NEC Secretary also met the Governor and the Chief Secretary and would visit Land Customs Station at Champhai and other projects undertaken by the NEC.
