NEW DIRECTOR I&PR ASSUMES OFFICE TODAY

Mr. Jim K. Chozah, MIS assumed his post as the new Director, I&PR, Mizoram today with a benediction service conducted by Rev.F.C.Beicho, Pastor, ECM. The function was attended by his family members, mediapersons and officers & staff of the department.

Mr. Jim K. Chozah joined the department as Scriptwriter in 1981. He was promoted to AIPRO in 1987, IPRO in 1989, Dy. Director in 1995 and Jt. Director in 2007. During his service, he was deputed to Field Publicity Officer, GOI, Saiha in 1987-88, Director, I&PR, NEC, Shillong in 1999 and as Dy. Secretary, State Information Commission in 2006.
