The newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of Champhai District Pu S.L Naveen, IAS yesterday invited the members of Champhai District Journalist Association at his Office to have a brief introduction and discussion on important issues pertaining in the district.

 Deputy Commissioner expressed his zeal to serve the people of Champhai, and maintained that the unending support from the social organizations is always a key to fulfill the task of district administration. He told the media fraternity to keep up their purpose of service to the people and cooperate the district officials  whenever needed. 

The MJA Members also welcomed and appreciated the Deputy Commissioner for sparing his valuable time at the earliest, they expressed that the new DC will keep up their expectations alive and try hard to upliftment of the district. They pledged that they will keep up cooperating as both aim for the service to the people.

At the meeting, different issues related to law and order, Media fraternity's problems and delayed development works being implemented  were discussed thoroughly, the District Magistrate noted the issues and told them appropriate actions will be taken as per law for the good of the district. 

 At yesterday’s meeting, the Deputy Commissioner Champhai was accompanied by Pu Alexander V.Chongthu, Addl DC; Pu Zoremthara Ralte, SDO Sadar  and Dr. Lallawmkima, DIPRO whereas the MJA team was led  by District President Pu C.Lalhnunpuia.
