Aizawl the 7th June, 2024: The Ministry of Home Affairs invites nominations for the Padma Awards, namely the Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, which have been awarded on Republic Day to persons with distinguished and exceptional achievements in various fields like art, sports, literature etc.

Nominations can be submitted online only through the Rashtriya Pushkar portal awards.gov.in, and a copy of the statutes and rules governing these awards is also available on the website padmaawards.gov.in. Nominations can be submitted from May 1st, 2024 to September 15th, 2024.

Recommendations from Aizawl district, if any, may be submitted with full supporting documents to the Sub Divisional Officer (Sadar), Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Aizawl on or before 28th June, 2024. Nominations should reach the Under Secretary to the Government of Mizoram, Home Department through respective Deputy Commissioners' offices on or before 15th July, 2024.
