In exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 149A & 149B and sub-section2) of Rule 148B of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Constitution, Conduct of Business etc.) (Amendment)Rules, 2014, the State Election Commissioner hereby appoints the following Officers of the State Government as Returning Officer, Assistant District Election Officer and Assistant Returning Officers for General Election to Members of District Council under Lai Autonomous District Council, 2020 as below:

As provided under sub-rule (4) of Rule 148B of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Constitution, Conduct of Business, etc.) (Amendment) Rules, 2014, the Officers, so appointed shall be deemed to be on deputation to the State Election Commission, Mizoram for the period during which they are so deployed and subject to the control, superintendence and discipline of the State Election Commission.
