Aizawl, the 9th September 2020 : The Government issued a notification that valid mPASS Flight or mPASS Road (previously mPASS - Entry of persons) IDs are to be accepted for entry into Mizoram by flight or by road without the need for separate permission from Home Department. In this regard, the following instructions may kindly be noted:

 

1. Validity of mPASS IDs can be verified by going to the download option / tab in either mPASS Roads or mPASS Flight link in the mCOVID-19 mobile application or www.mcovid19.mizoram.gov.in and entering the mPASS IDs.

 

2. Police and Medical Scanning of mPASS IDs for passengers entering by road through Vairengte, Bairabi, Kanhmun and Khawkawn is mandatory in order to have an accurate record of passengers entering the State using mPASS IDs.

 

3. All Deputy Commissioners may log in to the website,www.mcovid19.mizoram.gov.in using the credentials provided earlier. By clicking the link, 'PASSENGER' and then selecting the tab, 'APPROVED' they can view the list of approved applications and details so that they can prepare the quarantine facilities in advance.

 

4. Report of passengers crossing the border (that are scanned and updated by Police using the app) can be generated using the 'Generate Police Report' option in the dashboard after logging in at the website, www.mcovidl9.mizoram.gov.in. At the menu - Select Report Type, the option 'Records on Passengers / Driver Details' shall be selected to generate the report.

 

5. There is now an option in the mPASS IDs generated to mark whether the passenger requires ILP or not. When it is remarked ILP required against the names of the passenger entering the State, they shall be allowed entry only on possession of valid ILP or on issuance of Temporary ILP in their name. 

 

6. Offline entry passes in the form of digital format/PDF copy may still be issued by Home Department from time to time and such passes shall still be considered as valid entry

pass.

 

7. The instructions contained in Home Department, Government of Mizoram Order No. F.22012/98/2020-HM/COVID- 19(C) dated Aizawl, the 14th September, 2020 shall be strictly complied with.
