10th March, 2026 : 'Chapchar Kut, 2026' is to be celebrated throughout the State on 13^th March, 2026 (Friday). As this festival promotes cultural values and traditions of the Mizos, all employees under the Government of Mizoram and various Public Sector Undertakings, Boards, Bodies and Agencies under the State Government are requested to wear Mizo Traditional Dresses to offices during the 9 th -12tli March, 2026.

All Administrative Heads and Heads of Departments are requested to bring tills to the notice of all officials and employees under their respective departments.
