A ‘One Week Training Of Surveyor Under Land Revenue & Settlement Office’ was inaugurated by Sangchhin Chinzah, Deputy Commissioner, Kolasib at Settlement Officer’s Office today which is aim to familiarised the Surveyor in the application of modern technology in the daily works of surveying.

Mrs Sangchhin Chinzah mentioned that most of the land disputes can be avoided if reliable land records are maintained and that the Surveyor are the most important machinery in the preparation of such land records system. Sangchhin Chinzah encouraged the gathering surveyor to set an example for others in maintaining clean and reliable land records and urged them to make the training an interactive and productive training session.

The training will comprise of GPS Observation, Downloading and Process, Detail Survey by using Total Station, Drawing by using Computer, Survey method Real Time Kinematic using GPS and Detail Survey without Known Coordinates with their practical application.
