Yesterday Mamit Town was cleansed from plastics materials  within the surroundings of Mamit town which was organised by the District Urban Development Officer (DUDO) with a gesture- campaign to the baning and less use of plastics materials in the District.

DUDO Pu C. Sawihlira reminded the crowd of children about the hazardous effects of plastics to the environment and nature we live on. Pi Laltharzeli Ambassador for Cleanliness instrumented the oath taking  pledge with the children for minimal use of plastics materials.

The campaign program was witnessed by the Children Sanitation Clubs within the town village councils and school children.
