As a part of on-going observance of Rastriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month)   POSHAN ABHIYAN(National Nutrition Mission), Siaha ICDS  organized POSHAN RALLY  this morning at 7:00Am, here at Siaha today.Rally was held between DC's office and District playground.

A brief Rally Flagging-off programme was held at DC's office complex and Smt.Hepaw Hlychho,Circle Officer,  ICDS Presided over the programme and conducted oath taking by the mass as well.
 Shri.H.Zonunmawia, Election officer, who delivered a speech before flagging-off the Rally,  plauded the dedication of  ICDS and Anganwadi workers in their Nutritional Mission and exhorted them to leave no stones unturned ever in their endeavors of spreading Nutritional awareness to the general public."The purpose of this morning Rally is to Spread the awareness  about good nutrition and also the importance of availing nutrients food items and medicines provided at  Aganwadi centre by the gov't to eradicate malnutrition and undernutrition prevailing amongst Anganwadi-going age children". he added.

A brief Rally flagging-off programme was well attended by ICDS & Anganwadi workers and Shri. Heibikliana Thangtu, District Co-ordinator, Poshan Abhiyaan, Siaha ICDS Project,  concluded the programme with vote of thanks.
