The two day long review meeting of the Power & Electricity department, Mizoram took place at the Administrative Traning Institute (ATI) Auditorium, New Capital complex since yesterday and the second day of the meeting was graced by the P&E Minister R Lalzirliana accompanied by Lalhmingthanga, Secretary, P&E. 

P&E Minister R Lalzirliana emphasized on the importance of integrity among the employees saying,” Creation of Integrity and solidarity in the working environment provide a good medium to channel our energy more effectively in our work”. The minister also praised the P&E department for their dedication and workmanship, tending to faulty line even at odd hours, to make sure that ample electric supply is maintained. The minister also encouraged the Officers to take up all the departmental work project conscientiously so that there is timely delivery of service as per the schedule of the project. 

The meeting was attended by 85 Officers of the rank SDO and above of the Power & Electricity department, posted in various district of the state. Er. C Lianlunga, Engineer-in-Chief , chairman of the meeting, highlighted on the crucial role of communication in each level of work within the department to ensure the smooth functioning of the department. 

The afternoon session comprises of seminar containing presentation on the topic of Electrical Safety, Electrical Accident, Grid Discipline and Tariff & Directives from different resource persons.
