Kolasib 21st October 2020: The Press Release/Janasanyog of DIPR, Silchar, Assam dated October 21st was retracted after the Home Secretary, Mizoram protested against the misinformation conveyed in the Press Release. The Secretary, Home Department had impressed upon the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, the Home Commissioner, Assam and other delegates present at the meeting at Silchar dated 21st October 2020 that the said Press Release be immediately withdrawn.
