QUALITY EDUCATION AND SCHOOL TIMING REVIEWED

A meeting regarding Quality Education was held today at the Directorate of School Education Conference Hall under the Chairmanship of Pu Riachho, IAS, Secretary School Education Department. The meeting considered issues such as Mizoram's vision in imparting quality education among Mizo students, responsibilities of teachers, parents and society, teaching aids, teacher resource books etc.

Earlier, the Secretary School Education also convened a meeting at his office chamber with officials and representatives of Teachers' Association. They discussed safety issues for school students and proposal for shifting school hours considering rising traffic congestion during peak hours.
