On Children's Day this year Raj Bhavan, Mizoram, like in other places hosted Children's Day celebration selected schools within Aizawl City. Since the Governor is away on official tour the short inaugural function at the Multipurpose Hall, Rajbhvan was hosted by Shri K.Lalthawmmawia, Secretary to Governor who shares few words on the history of Raj Bhavan. After the refreshment, the school children were shown the interior of the Heritage Building and other places inside the Raj Bhavan. One hundred students from 5 schools - Government Model English Medium PS, Ramhlun North, Govt Rev. Thianga PS, Bethlehem Vengthlang, Govt Model English PS, Chanmari, Government Boys Model English Medium PS, Sikulpuikawn and Govt Model English Medium PS, College Veng participated in this event.
