RETURNING OFFICERS FOR UPCOMING VC ELECTION TRAINED AT LAWNGTLAI

A training of 116 nos of personnel appointed for returning officers for the upcoming general election to village councils within the Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC) and by-election for one vacant seat in Council Veng VC under Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) was organised at Lawngtlai DC Conference Hall on 13th February.

There are 88 village councils within the Chakma Autonomous District Council comprising 516 seats including 88 reserved seats for women. According to Election Department's data, there are 15174 households within CADC area.
