A meeting reviewing the conduct of various duties during the Christmas and New Year Celebration in the district was held today at DC Conference Hall, Kolasib, these afternoon.

It was pointed out that there was peaceful environment all through the festive season with no major mishap incident occurring in the district. It was also mentioned that there was good corporation from the public in refraining the sale and use of crackers and other fireworks. The role played by various NGOs in coordinating with district offices in maintaining law and order during the festive season was regarded exceptional and highly appreciated in the meeting. 

The meeting was attended by SP, Kolasib, official from various department and leader from different NGOs.
