Observation of RTI Week 2019 began in Mamit District today under the aegis of the District Administration with the support of I&PR Department. The inaugural function which was held in the Conference Hall of DIPRO’s Office was chaired by Pu Paul Rokima, MIS, DIPRO Mamit in the presence of Dr Lalrozama, IAS, Deputy Commisioner and Chairman of RTI Week 2019 Organising Committee, Mamit District.

RTI Week 2019 inauguration was well attended by all Heads of Offices in Mamit,  alongwith the respective SPIO/SAPIO/Dealing Assistant of their Offices. NGOs, RTI activists and Village Council leaders also participated in the function.

A Powerpoint Presentation on RTI Act 2005 and Rules pertaining to current issues was presented by Dr.Joseph C.Lalremruata, Asst. Professor, Govt. Mamit College, which was followed by extensive interaction and a Question & Answer session with the participants.
