46 Assam Rifles Company platoon stationed at Ngopa under the aegis of 23 Sect, AR / IGAR (East) conducted a 'Sanitization Drive' at Ngopa on 04 May 2020. This was organised keeping in mind the need to prevent spread of any infection in the area. Disinfectants were sprayed in the entire village as well as all the VLTF check post in and around Ngopa.

The Assam Rifles has been providing all possible assistance in the remote border areas to combat COVID-19. The benevolent gesture of the Assam Rifles have been greatly appreciated by the local populace.
