Dated Aizawl, the 14^th February, 2025 : In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (7) of Section 3 of The Chakma Autonomous District Council (Village Councils) Act, 2002 as amended, the State Election.Commission, Mizoram hereby notifies that the Model Code of Conduct for Political Parties, Candidates and Persons holding public offices is hereby enforced within Chakma Autonomous District Council with effect from 14^th February, 2025 till completion of the process of General Election to 88 (eighty eight) Village Councils under Chakma Autonomous District Council, 2025 i.e. 18.03.2025.
