Dated Serchhip, the 11th June, 2021:Green Mizoram Day, 2021 was observed today by Serchhip District level Committee on Green Mizoram at Thenzawl Golf Course with a short ceremony and official planting of trees within the Course complex.

Mrs. K. Lalrinzuali, Secretary, Tourism, Govt. of Mizoram graced the function as Chief Guest and Mr. Kumar Abhishek IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Serchhip, the Guest of Honour. Mrs. Dr. Irene Zohlimpuii Chawngthu, Jt. Secretary, Tourism, Mr. V. Lalengmawia, Director, Tourism, Mr. Lalmuansanga ralte, Addl. DC, Serchhip, Mr. Amol Srivastava, IAS, SDO, Thenzawl and selected officials attended the function. After the ceremony at Golf Course Multipurpose Hall, the programme  was followed by planting of trees by officials.
