Representatives of Village Level Task Force within Serchhip town and Pu HD Lalpekmawia, Addl .DC Serchhip accompanied by other officials held a meeting today at DC Meeting Room to discuss about the matter relating to Lockdown 5.

Pu DH Lalpekmawia, by mentioning his views, said that there is a possibilities of increasing a covid19 cases within our district like other part in the state. In order to obtain a proper preventive measures and mitigation activities, Village Level Task Forces play a crucial roles in their respectives areas. A stricter measures in conformity with rules shall be required for the implementation of this Lockdown 5, a better cooperation and higher efforts for the same is also required, he added. He aslo said that measures to avoid news or views that can create panic among public is necessary and in time of such incidences accurences, VLTFs can be the pacifier and a remedy carrier amongst them.

In the meeting, representatives of the VLTFs give their reports on measures being taken by them and also pointed out various activity that are needed to be done from the side of District Administration for discussion.
