Aizawl, the 17th June 2022: Shri Ravideep Singh Sahi, IGP, Tripura Sector, CRPF called on Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Raj Bhavan this morning. IGP of CRPF apprised of the facilities inaugurated for public use constructed by the CRPF through Civic Action Programme (2021-22).

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati shared his appreciation of the effort given by the CRPF for contributing to the welfare of the civil societies wherever they are posted in addition to their normal duties. He thanked the IGP and the CRPF for the construction of useful amenities within the Zemabawk localities in Aizawl. He urged them to continue to build their healthy relations with the local people.

Shri Ravideep Singh Sahi apprised the Governor of all the important roles and activities of the CRPF in Mizoram. He highlighted the facilities constructed by the CRPF for the Public through the Civic Action Programme (2021-22) which was inaugurated yesterday in the presence of the local people. He also reaffirmed the commitment of CRPF to their duties and also their willingness to serve the people of the area. In his meeting with the Governor, he also appreciated the well-educated civil societies in the state and the commitment to social services by YMA and other NGOs.

The facilities inaugurated yesterday are mentioned below:-
1) Two bathrooms for ladies at the water point at Falkland, Zemabawk, Aizawl.
2) Combined urinal for both male & female at Lungbial, Zemabawk, Aizawl.
3) Expansion of water point and construction of approach footpath to the water point at Aizawl to Lunglei Road Zemabawk , Aizawl.
4) Patients waiting shed at the community health centre at Zemabawk, Aizawl.
