Witnessing their precarious situation; SOC decided to extend financial assistance to the poor families in the form of Christmas Gift to brighten their christmas by tying-up their financial chasm during this festive period. So each member of Siaha Officers' Club donated a certain amount; ranging from Rs.1000-15,000/- for these poorest of the poor families of Siaha Town. Total amount of donation accrued to Rs.2,31,000/-and this amount was divided into 21 portion of Rs.11,000/-each and these were handed over to Presidents of 21 Village Councils to be further distributed equally(Rs.2200/-each) to the 5 poorest families belonging to their respective jurisdictions.
