Officials, participants, dear friends

I am very happy that we have successfully come to the end of the three-day exhibition on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

In spite of the rainy weather, I am extremely delighted that so many people visited this Exhibition at Raj Bhavan.

I thank all the wonderful people who visited the expo, and I especially thank all those who purchased items in support of our local artisans.

I hope that this event was a fruitful experience for all the local artisans who put up their stalls.

I thank you for making this event a grand success, and I wish you the very best in your future endeavours.

It is my sincere hope that this Exhibition will contribute to the development of handloom and handicrafts, as well as food processing sector in our State.

I am hopeful that the general public will have been informed of the various Central Government Schemes, including the PM Vishwakarma Yojana and others.

I urge the people to avail these beneficial Schemes, which are meant for the common people.

I appreciate the government and banking officials for their efforts, and I encourage you to continue educating the masses regarding these Central Schemes.

Gandhiji spoke about the importance of self-reliance and self-sufficiency. In Mizoram, small and cottage industries can be useful contributors in our quest for self-reliance.

In accordance with Hon’ble Prime Minister’s call of ‘Vocal for Local’, we should continue to support local and domestic goods.

Once again, I thank the Commerce and Industries Department for successfully organizing this Exhibition.

I also thank the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India for their financial support.

I convey my heartfelt appreciation to all the visitors for your valuable time and support.

It is my desire that we continue to progress together as we aim to achieve a New India and a New Mizoram.

Thank you.

Jai Hind.
