No.B.14015/1/2026-SEC/LC/AMC/LMC/6: In exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 3 & 37 of the Mizoram Municipalities (Election to Local Councils) Rules, 2015 read with rule 17 (2) of the Mizoram Municipalities Ward Committee and Local Council Rules, 2010, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby notifies the Number & Name of Local Councils, the Number of vacant seats and the Schedule of By-Election to Local Councils, 2026 under Aizawl Municipal Corporation as below:-

The Model Code of Conduct for Election Conducted by State Election Commission, Mizoram is hereby enforced within the Local Councils where election is being held, with immediate effect till the Announcement of the result of the said By-Election.
