State Election Commission notifies MCC for MADC Village Council Bye-Election

22nd May, 2025 : In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 of The Mara Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2014, the State Election Commission, Mizoram today notified that the Model Code of Conduct for Political Parties, Candidates and Persons holding public offices shall come into force with immediate effect within the areas of the concerned villages under Mara Autonomous District Council where-in By-Election to Village Councils is to be held and shall remain in effect till announcement of Results.
