STATE ELECTION COMMISSION NOTIFIES MODEL CODE OF CONDUCT FOR CHAKMA AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT COUNCIL BYE ELECTION

Dated Aizawl, the 23rd July, 2025 : In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rule (5) of Rule 7 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council (Constitution, Conduct of Business etc.) Rules, 2002 as amended, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby notifies that the Model Code of Conduct for Political Parties, Candidates and Persons holding public offices is hereby enforced within 7-Kamalanagar ‘W’ MDC Constituency under Chakma Autonomous District Council with effect from 23rd July, 2025 till announcement of the result of the said By- Election i.e. 09.08.2025.
